A Reader in African Christian Theology, by John Parratt
Christian theology in Africa has a richness and variety that few in the West suspect, with different emphasis and theological perspectives. In this book, the first of its kind, John Parrat has selected twelve essays by African theologians and ~Christian leaders which illustrates the diversity and the major concerns of `Christians in Africa today. His aim has been to provide a resource book for a course study on the various themes raised.
The essays, all previously published , have been chosen to represent a number of different Churches , and are drawn from widely differing geographical areas. John Parrat provides an enlightening introduction and conclusion , and these , as well as each of the Readings , end with suggestions for further study and discussion.
