Discovering Heritage, Lineage and South Indian Tastes, by Savi Veerapan
Discovering Heritage, Lineage and South Indian Tastes follows a South African woman of Indian descent who discovers her lineage in a South Indian village in Tamil Nadu. She not only re-establishes contact with distant realtives, but is also inspired by the South Indian vegetarian meals that are influenced by Ayurvedic principles, thus beginning her journey to becoming a vegetarian. The book is filled with delicious recipes that are adapted using locally produced vegetables. Many of them can be prepared in less than half an hour.
