SPIRITED Poetry Tour, 22 March, at Barbican, by Sello Huma & Friends

The Spirited Poetry Tour explores the indigenous elements of poetry with the modern spoken word.In other words, we are saying it is a spirited tour because we want to revive the spirits of the masses through song, praise and poetry. An awakening call from the land of the dead to pass their message of healing ,hope, unity and justices by reflecting on the current state of affairs and addressing the social-ills and conditions of this world.

The Spirited tour is centred on Johannesburg CBD spaces and also pays homage to forgotten voices of poetry who have also contributed to the makings of this democracy.
