More Than Redemption

Read this as a prescribed book in high school and went on to reread it later on in life and my sentiments for this one still stand. Tsotsi is a well-written book chronicling the events that occur during a three-day crisis in the life of a young man whose life has been shaped by the socio-economic conditions in 1950s South Africa. This book is more than just a redemption story, but it also confronts the political issues of South Africa.
