Come out and enjoy an evening of poetry and music at Bridge Books. The Colour of Light Poetry will be happening on 22nd October (Sat), and it's sure to be an evening you won't want to miss. There'll be performances by some talented poets, as well as live music. And if that's not enough, we'll also have an open mic so you can share your own work with the audience. Wine will be served, so make sure you come thirsty!

He is a Photographer and a self-taught Illustrative and portrait Artist. Most profoundly he is a painter, a Slam Poet and an author of the: Slam Poetry Book

Bebe The Creator

Vocalist, Singer, Song Writer & Performance Artist. Motswako-Trapsoul artist BebeTheCreator has recently gifted us with a sonically exciting and equally emotionally wrecking EP ‘Stages of Marato’, the multifaceted artist and musician strives to explore love in all its form through her music.

Ovawa

Poet and Vocalist. He owns a studio in Hatfield called YzloeStudio And have worked with Artists such as Roman Figga, Obakeng Mokgara, Noxolo Desire G.M.I Venus and more.

Saniity

Saniity is a singer-songwriter whose music is mostly contemporary RNB, ambient, alternative, and experimental. Her music aims to sooth the minds and create a new way of understanding, thinking and perceiving life and all it has to offer. She has mostly worked alone but recently collaborated with Born Fire Rebels, a local music duo as well as Bebe the Creator. Saniity explores the chaos and insanity of the universe, to make you question reality. But, what reality?

eX

The Artist is a rapper, songwriter, and screenwriter out of Centurion, South Africa. He makes afro-centric high art rap music with his influences being Hugh Masekela, Jay-Z, Stogie T, and Mick Jenkins. He is a solo artist and the frontman for the duo: The Nuance. He recently released Long Live The Patriarchy as a member of The Nuance, which has 10k+ streams. It was described as "deeply introspective and sonically soulful" by Texx and the City. This project was delivered after the act's debut at The National Arts Fest.
