Regret follows anger as sure as lightning follows thunder. This painful fact becomes a fast reality for a young boy named Lian. Going through life being bullied brings hardships, leaves scars, and creates crippling self-doubt. At the same time, a poorly made decision in a moment of pain and fear can and most likely will open the door for a future filled destruction, death, and pain. Or at least in this story it does.

Our story follows a boy named Lian, who by all means just wants to live a normal life. His plans are short lived. An unfortunate event leads him to discover a world hidden in plain sight. He comes face to face with a well-kept age old secret. All around him there are shape shifters living in the shadows, hunted in millennia gone by, angry and hurt, and most of all afraid of what the future holds in a world where one young boy’s darkness is let loose. The creature born in a moment of anguish will cause Lian to confront and deal with his choices for years to come.

In this new world of shape shifters will our young hero be able to reconcile the tears time and ignorance has caused to unite the worlds of shifters and humans? Will Lian be able to face his deepest darkest self come to life before the world is consumed and all is lost?

Being different

Excellent. You can feel the hurt and heartache he had to suffer because of people who can't accept someone else to be different. Different doesn't mean you're stupid or less lived and liked. Hope some of those bullies get to read this. Maybe they'll feel famous.
