2Summers — Coffee and books in Marshalltown

Heather Mason returned to Marshalltown to write about two of her favourite spots in the most central part of the CBD — Troy's Café, a coffee window on Loveday Street in the restored Art Deco Aegis Building, and Bridge Books in its new Barbican space. She's blunt about the area's reputation, and equally clear that Marshalltown isn't the part of town that earns it.
