Green eggs and ham might not sound very fun to eat, but I can assure you that the book was very fun to read. The story follows Sam as he tries to convince the reader that this strange food is very much enjoyable in some of the weirdest places that he can come up with. Thinking about this book just makes me remember all the times I spent laughing as a child.
This one is for every kid that's turned their nose up at peas or carrots, and every parent that wishes they had someone to nag their kids into eating them that wasn't them. This is obviously funny, Suess just knows what he's doing when it comes to these, and the way the art and content work together is some of the best out there. I know as a kid after reading this all I wanted to try was green eggs and ham, so I can see this encouraging your younger ones to branch out their tastes too!
