The Travelers
By (author): Chris Pavone. Will Rhodes is an award-winning correspondent for The Travelers, on assignment at a luxury Argentinian resort - fine wines and gourmet food, polo fields and the looming Andes. But Will's life is about to be turned upside down when a new flirtation turns into something far more dangerous, and he only realises too late.

Chris Pavone creates quasi-spy thrillers with a publishing industry setting. I read Pavone's first two works, The Expats and The Accident, and like The Expats more than I did The Accident. Sadly, I wasn't blown away by The Travelers. Although the implementation lacked polish, the concept was excellent. To prevent spoilers, I won't disclose too much about the story, but Will, a travel magazine journalist who becomes caught in an espionage conspiracy, is the main character of the novel.
