this novel, A Deadly Presence was written by Hjalmar Thesen in the year 1989. The plot takes place in Knysna. This entertaining and gripping novel is the story of a rare black leopard who terrorizes a whole neighborhood physically and psychologically before being captured at the end. This novel is definitely worth the read
