It is quite an interesting read that is filled with thriller. It took me some time to get a grasp of the plot and to get into the groove of the whole book, but once I did, I enjoyed it. It shows the depths of gangsterism, intercontinental crime and handling huge sums of money. The writer used graphic violence to paint the picture of the events happening clearly in the reader’s mind. It has a somewhat complicated storyline though, but it is quite interesting.
Reading this book is almost like watching a movie and if you love thrillers then this is the book for you! I don't like how extremely violent it is, but what is a thriller without a little bit of kicking and screaming?
I don't usually read contemporary romantic suspense, but I decided to give Submerged a try, and boy am I glad I did. From the very beginning the setting breathed life, and I could have sworn the author herself was an experienced rescue diver because the dive scenes were so authentic. Dani Pettry knows how to do her research and weave it seamlessly into her stories in order to create a fantastic experience for the reader.
Submerged' is a fast-paced tale of international intrigue, intercontinental crime, and high finance, coiling between beautiful covers.
Reading "Submerged" is similar to watching an exciting movie since it has a feverishly fast-paced storyline and compelling characters that keep the reader's interest and suspense high (within the reader). By pitting Cape Gangsters against corrupt Russian billionaires, a well-educated beach bum against Corporate London, and a rich party girl against, well, everyone, Wiid crafts a massive plot.
