Red Air

A thriller about United States soldiers in Afghanistan. Wende spent time in Afghanistan next to soldiers being a journalist. The book is from experienced and what was seen first-hand. There is a fraught relationship between a father and son in the battlefields. The book is very detailed and gripping.
