I really enjoyed reading this book and I wish I had read it sooner. This book teaches teenagers about the importance of money, how to save money and also teaches them about investment. I honestly think that all the teachings/tips in this book are important especially for adulthood as it can assist you in preventing debt and succeeding financially in the future.
Honestly I got given this book as, and I think nothing was a bigger sign that I needed to manage my money better. In terms of a starting point for saving and money management, this was a great one. It doesn't talk down to it's target audience but at the same time presents what are likely to be new concepts in a simplified way, and pairs that information with informative and interesting illustrations and fun facts to keep you interested on the rather important subject matter
Young adults frequently complain about how tough adulting is, but the fact is that when you're a child or teenager, issues like investing, charitable giving, and taxes are generally the last things you care about since they sound so dull. I now teach in an elementary school, so I can already picture how different portions of this book would pique their interest. Sam Beckbessinger deserves praise for adopting the perspective of a child and writing from that position.
A great book for teen looking for advice and information on how to handle their finances and learn about investing as well as the importance of money. I highly recommend this book for teenagers
