We intuitively understand the value of effective teamwork and that teams with excellent chemistry perform better. At work, we are frequently inundated with strategies for effective team-building initiatives. Most of us are familiar with all of this. But The Culture Code employs a novel strategy that I haven't seen previously to analyze the workings of a successful team: A system that values enabling team members to be vulnerable with one another over each team member's individual competency and one where belonging cues used by team members to create a safer atmosphere are crucial.
