The relevance of "igoli dreams" to young black girls in 2018 was what I found to be most intriguing; our daughters, nieces, and friends' daughters, who have the extra burden of having to prove that they've "made it," end up in potentially fatal circumstances. We deal with common topics like feminism, sexism, patriarchy, rape, defilement, sexual assault, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sexual abuse on a daily basis.
