The first volume of this French comic series follows Inspecteur Bayard through six short, playful whodunit cases (including "Le voleur de panthère" and "Alerte au requin!"), each just 3–4 pages long. In classic style, the reader sees all the clues alongside Bayard, who turns to the reader in the final panel to ask if they've solved it too — with solutions given at the back of the book. Drawn in clean "ligne claire" style, it's aimed at young readers as an interactive mystery album.
