Bridge Books is well aware of the gaps in South African literary industries. South Africans have limited access to their own stories, particularly in their own languages. We've been publishing lost classics, anthologies, and children's books in local languages, with the ultimate goal to get more South African stories in South African languages, into bookstores across the country.
