Tsitsi Dangarembga

Tsitsi Dangarembga (born 4 February 1959) is a Zimbabwean novelist, playwright, and filmmaker. Her debut novel, Nervous Conditions (1988), was named by the BBC in 2018 as one of the top 100 books that have shaped the world.

The beloved Zimbabwean author's Nervous Conditions was a formative book for many readers. The sequel, so many years after the original, met readers' almost impossible expectations.
