Mariticide follows the life of a mother, wife, and successful lawyer after she is accused of a very serious crime and gets sentenced to a psychiatric hospital. The storyline was a bit confusing to me as it kept jumping between different timelines. There are some grammar errors throughout the book that kept distracting me, but further, it was a very well-written book even though I am not a fan of thrillers.
This book is a gem. It takes one on a roller-coaster of emotions. It is a binge-worthy type of book, once you start you will not put it down. This psychological suspenseful story includes multiple twists and turns. It is a mixture of suspense, thriller and romance. Alyssa is strong-willed and she knows how to take care of her loved ones, but she came across a situation that wanted her to make a choice and all options came with serious repercussions. I love how Doctor Greene’s character grows throughout the book. I recommend it for those who love romance with a mix of suspense.
WOW! Just wow! This is a psychological thriller romance novel from Jo-Anne Joseph. If you are in need of a thrilling, intriguing, keep you guessing story Jo-Anne is your must-read author! She has a way of grabbing you and sucking you into this world that she creates with amazingly detailed characters who you can relate to. With stories that are the dark twisted crazy stories that happen behind closed doors. I loved every minute of this page-turner story!
