I am young (relatively speaking, lol), I am black and I relate with everything written in this masterpiece.
By the time I read this book I was already three years in the trenches, that is building my first business, an Alternative Asset Management company, from scratch. The experience I gained and the experiences I've had were like mirror reflections upon reading this book.
Building in a country with the highest global youth unemployment rate as well as the highest GINI-coefficient, a statistical measure of economic inequality in a population, is no child's play.
The reality of the matter is that very few will rise in corporate to C-suite and earn the very big bucks; most entrepreneurs are the average folk who leave corporate early or work blue collar jobs and therefore pursue entrepreneurship with a relatively limited financial arsenal.
This book is for the average folk and the average folk must read it to get a sense of unfiltered reality.
