Helne is a shy little bear with cerebral palsy, who lives in a playroom with all the other toys. When other toys are taken outside to play in the sunshine, Helen is left behind in the playroom. But then one day, she is taken along to a picnic tea.
This is her first outing and she observes a little boy who also hascerebral palsy, and she recognises the same feelings of sadness and loneliness in his eyes. For the first time she realises that there are others who have the same disability, and that she is not alone.
That evening she decides that she needs to reach out to others and make them aware that they are not alone.
What follows describes Helen's unique way of helping others.
