Art Sauvages by Claude Roy (Used)

A 1957 volume in Robert Delpire's "Encyclopédie essentielle" series, by French poet and critic Claude Roy. It is an illustrated survey of non-Western "primitive" art traditions — later reissued as part of "L'Art à la source, vol. 1: Arts premiers, arts sauvages" — covering art forms such as African, Oceanic and pre-Columbian work, held in institutional photography collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
