Life goes on as "Normal" until one day Kenny decides to take his group on a nature ramble.Chinese Whispers is a 1987 novella by Maurice Leitch published as a Hutchinson Novella in Australia and the United Kingdom and as part of the Harper Short Novel Series in the United States. Leitch was awarded the Guardian Fiction Prize in 1969 for his novel Liberty Lad, and he was awarded the Whitbread Prize in 1981 for his novel Silver's City.
