Exiles is the third novel in Rose Zwi's South African saga. Set in Israel in the early 1950s, shortly after independence, the story revolves around the lives of Ruth and her husband, battling with their relationship and the hardships of life far from comfortable South Africa, and the story of Gil, a concentration-camp survivor, plagued with guilt, beset by nightmares of his recent past, but affirming the life and love he finds around him.
