Set in urban and rural Zimbabwe, Gone With The Blue Zodiac is a story that powerfully reveals the complexities of loss and love, and strongly resonates with traditional and modern families.
Deeply in love, Nyika and Bettina Denga – a young couple living in Harare – are happy and their future is promising. All this is shattered when their car, driven by Nyika, collides with a train on a stormy night in 1993. he is killed in the accident, leaving behind Bettina, their children – Tungamirai and Paidamoyo – and the family dog, Mazowe. As they face life without Nyika, grief forces them to face their inner contradictions and family conflicts.
