Poetry NonScenes by Tom Penfold, Adam Levin & Deidre Byrne

A collection of performance poems by school learners, university students, and working professionals, compiled from two workshops held in Johannesburg and Pretoria in 2024.

Tom Penfold is a Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg and the University of the Witwatersrand. He is the author of Black Consciousness and South Africa's National Literature.

Adam Levin is a researcher in the Department of English at the University of the Witwatersrand and a senior member of the South African Poetry Project (ZAPP).

Deirdre Byrne is Professor of English at the University of South Africa and the Director of the South African Poetry Project (ZAPP).
