"This Africa of Ours" is the title which, for over two years, on every Sunday evening was familiar to radio listeners throughout South and Central Africa; the title of a series of stories of high adventure and great achievement, stories which brought much enjoyment and gave food for thought to countless thousands of people.

Indeed it was largely through the encouragement he received from those who listened to his stories, that the Author was persuaded to write this book.

Michacl McNeile has handled with skill the task of transcribing his radio scripts into story form. He has lost nothing of the original drama and indeed his stories are even enhanced by a subtle use of his considerable knowledge of theatre and stagecraft.
